School-based Mental Health Services

 

School-based program:

HeartMind International phas been supporting the school-based programs around Jumla and surrounding remote communities. School programs are conducted twice weekly. The program includes individual and group counseling for students, as well as conducting awareness programs and group activities to encourage the students to talk about their mental health problems.

The center conducts school-based programs on reducing the risk of cardio-vascular diseases through the BISHESH model founded by the Bhaskar Memorial Foundation. Through this program, students are taught about the risk of smoking and junk foods alongside the importance of physical exercise and stress management.
