HeartMind International is a public charity (501(c)(3)) with the mission to provide culturally-appropriate and sustainable mental health care to the most vulnerable populations around the world. HeartMind International is dedicated to improving mental health and psychosocial services in South Asia and for the South Asian diaspora. HeartMind International’s current programs serve individuals living in rural Nepal.

Mike Cipra, Board Member
Mike Cipra is a writer and worker for environmental justice who seeks a balance between conserving natural resources and building a healthy future for diverse communities. Mike has helped prevent the world’s largest landfill next to Joshua Tree National Park; he’s testified before the U.S. Congress on climate change policy; and he’s brought youth to the land—to see stars and count coho and learn that our relationship with land is directly related to our health. Mike’s time living in Nepal informs and inspires his work with HeartMind International.

Season Shrestha, is a successful businessman and owner of Season Enterprises in Towson, MD. Season has served as President for the Newah Organization Of America. He has successfully started and managed 501 (c) 3 organizations in the U.S. and is focused on the preservation and cultivation of the Newah language and traditions.
